High School Course Award

The ADEIL High School Course Award honors an outstanding pre-collegiate level (K–12) course that opened during the previous year. The award recognizes the accomplishment of the instructor, author, primary editor and/or course developer who worked together to create an exemplary course. This includes any distance education or online learning course that may be online or print-based using a study guide.

The ADEIL Awards Committee will arrive at a consensus based on its assessment of the relative scholarly and instructional qualities of the entries. The committee will evaluate the overall design, content, learning activities, and assessments for each entry. The award includes a $50 stipend and a certificate from ADEIL.

Eligibility

Eligible courses include newly developed distance education course that opened for enrollments sometime during the previous academic year. If a previously submitted course was rewritten or revised it may be resubmitted for consideration.
