ADEIL Committees & Chairs, 2024-2025

Archives Committee -The Archives Committee preserves information and artifacts from ADEIL’s history.

Awards Committee – The Awards Committee plans, promotes, and serves as judges for the annual ADEIL High School and College Course Awards and Excellence in Support Service Award.

• Shallon Atukunda, Kyambogo University

By-Laws Committee – The By-Laws Committee advises ADEIL on matters relating to the By-Laws and coordinates any proposed changes to the By-Laws.

Conference Committee – The Conference Committee plans, promotes, and executes the annual conference.

Elections Committee – The Elections Committee oversees the annual election of the members of the ADEIL Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

Membership Committee – The Membership Committee maintains a current list of ADEIL members and strategizes membership growth and engagement initiatives.

Research Committee – The Research Committee plans, promotes, and serves as judges for the annual ADEIL Research Award and Evan Smith Research Grant Award.

Social Media Committee – The Social Media Committee shares ADEIL news and highlights on and creates content for social media.

Website Committee – The Website Committee maintains ADEIL’s website with up-to-date information and organizational highlights. They also brainstorm additional content to be added to the website.
