PhD, Psychology, Georgia Tech
I am a life-long learner. I knew that I wanted to be an educator since I was 5 years old.
I majored in Psychology and minored in English at Florida State University. I completed my graduate studies in Psychology with a specialization in Cognitive Aging at Georgia Tech.
I love older adults and drawing from their rich life experience and wisdom. Topics in cognitive psychology, developmental psychology, and neuroscience are so fascinating and the research is so innovative.
I love of Distance Education makes the world smaller. Some of the most compelling and rewarding classroom interactions I have experienced were through online courses where I had students from all over the world sharing and connecting in a safe and empowering learning environment. Distance Education is powerful and changes lives every day.
